Welcome to the Ocean Treasure Restaurant, a little part of the Far East in Central Manchester.
Located at the entrance to Manchester235 in the Great Northern Warehouse, Ocean Treasure will take you beyond 'The Bamboo Curtain' on a culinary experience that will both delight and tantalize your taste buds.
The central location is an excellent start or finish point to Manchester’s premier attractions, with many hotels, the Manchester Opera House, Bridgewater Hall and Manchester Central all within minutes walking distance away.
The majority of the menu is traditionally Cantonese with more than a few specials from further afield, all cooked by Ocean Treasure's masterchefs. Each 'cherry picked' from China Town and who have many years of expertise between them.
From speciality Dim Sums and light meals to a Royal banquet fit for soap stars and footballers alike, all are available throughout Ocean Treasure's opening hours from lunchtime till the early hours.
The modern, chic yet cosy decor certainly stands out from the ubiquitous reds and greens too often used by many Chinese Restaurants.
Ocean Treasure 235 can be very flexible in offering an intimate dinner for 2 or cater for parties up to 80 people. The choice is merely yours.

"Now, we certainly love our Chinese food at Restaurants Of Manchester but, until now, have always been left very disappointed with what's on offer in Manchester. Many of the highly celebrated places seem to be living on past glories whilst you could probably count the number of excellent Chinese restaurants in Manchester on one hand... a hand inside a boxing glove at that!
Step into the ring, Ocean Treasure... so good we visited 3 times in one week! With Stewart Yip's millions behind them, they've been able to cherry pick the best chefs, managers and waiting staff in Manchester and boy, does it show!
The staff are warmly inviting and, if you're feeling adventurous, will even recommend dishes that are only on the Chinese language menu. With so many stand-out dishes to choose from, this only serves to make your selection that tiny bit harder.
