Wolf at the Door is a late-night party bar in the heart of the Northern Quarter. Spread over two floors, it boasts an innovative cocktail menu, over 150 whiskeys, craft beers and natural wine. The ground floor bar has 15 beer taps, including the only permanent line of Omnipollo in the city.
Upstairs you’ll find a stand-alone cocktail station and Scandi-inspired decor, including a full-size canoe suspended over the bar. Expect graffitied walls, hip hop and a lively atmosphere throughout the week.
The food menu is simple, consisting of tacos, bao buns and fries. Prices start from £2 for a portion of 2, and fillings include Berliner Currywurst, Scampi & Fries and Jerk Chicken. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are all on offer and food is served late into the night.
For the cocktail menu, the team have come up with inventive twists on classics, such as a JD and Coke with homemade tamarind cola, and a riff on a Clover Club with cardamom-infused gin and rose water. They’ll also happily make straight-up classics for you.
