"We used to be regulars at Restaurant, Bar & Grill in Manchester but haven't been for ages so we were interested to see if it had kept its' high standards. Overall, yes. Well cooked food in classy, pleasant surroundings. The menu still includes the old favourite of Thai Green Chicken Curry (now approaching a rather heavy £15) but there are some interesting new dishes on offer. The Crab & Avocado starter and the Smoked Haddock Special were exceptional but my penne main course was uninspiring and overpriced for a veggie pasta dish. Overall, we enjoyed our meal but the prices were a bit toppish. This is still a classy eatery but needs to work hard to match up to some of the new kids on the block. One comment about the staff - the service was good and the senior staff are highly professional but the chatty lad from Rochdale needs to tone things down.
