Lamb of Tartary just off Piccadilly Gardens has received a rebrand and concept change from its former pub inspired direction, so has now become simply 'LoT'.
Any kitchen driven by Shaun Moffat will inevitably produce food with bags of flavour, and his latest venture is no different. But the new menu at LOT diverts from the styles which we've previously seen from Shaun, not only in Manchester but down in London too.
Ahead of launch, we were told to expect dishes influenced by the Silk Route, so a strong use of spices and more exotic seasonings. It's always great to see a talented Chef branching out from their comfort zone and still delivering something delicious. We were invited in for the press preview, and couldn’t pass based on our general high praise of Shaun and LOT's previous iteration. |
