"We visited the Charles Halle Restaurant before a concert on Sunday evening. The restaurant is only open on concert nights and it is essential to book well in advance. The restaurant is small, about 12 tables (30 - 34 people) and is stylishly decorated with beautiful table settings. A menu du jour is offered by Head Chef Marco Tedde giving a choice of starter, main course and dessert, changes daily and is offered at a fixed price of £20 for 2 courses and £25 for 3. The food was excellent, it arrived promptly, was well presented, cooked to perfection and on warm plates! We were served by pleasant staff who seemed to enjoy working there. We would recommend this restaurant without hesitation and it deserves its listing as one of the top 1200 UK restaurants in the "Which? Good Food Guide 2007".
