But we were there for the cocktail and cake pairings, and all were presented beautifully in their own little cages. The Pistachio Martini had a velvety smooth texture with a subtle pistachio finish, and its accompanying white chocolate & raspberry slice was moist & delicate!.
We also had the Blue Zest; a Blueberry and a Lemon Spritz, accompanied by a Blueberry and Lemon cake, which was our pick of the two cakes. The cocktail was just as pleasing but much drier so will suit those in search of something to offset all the sweetness.
Other additions to the new pairing menu include The Bakewell, which sees a Cherry Negroni paired with a classic Bakewell Slice for that perfect combination of sweet and sharp. This is sure to be a favourite.
