47 King Street West restaurant in Manchester opened its doors in early December 2011 and has rapidly established itself on the Manchester food and drink scene. Sandwiched between Manchester's famous San Carlo and Cicchetti restaurants, it has completed a triangle of top eateries, whilst retaining their own distinctive style and offering, with no eatery of this type having been seen in Manchester for probably a decade.
You'll find an old world charm and feel but with clean, modern furnishings and surroundings. Already a favourite daytime haunt, 47 King Street West underwent refurbishment costing in the region of £120K and appointed former Lounge 10 maestro Rod Francis as Head Chef to launch an exciting evening menu.
Having started out as upmarket tea rooms, due to the popularity, 47 King Street West has expanded their offering to include an evening A La Carte, and a Traditional Sunday Lunch Menu

Daytimes are largely unchanged with freshly-made sandwiches, salads, light bites and much praised afternoon teas. In the evening the ambiance changes with crisp white linen and mood-creating candles.
The A La Carte menu features French and British classics put together by talented head chef, Rod Francis, and is available in the newly re-vamped eatery from Wednesdays to Saturdays with a special Traditional Sunday Lunch and Dinner menu available all day Sunday. 47 King Street West also has a fantastic fully stocked bar serving Champagnes, wines and mouth-watering cocktails.
The brainchild of former lawyer Mike Hymanson, it is a family business with wife Sherry and sons Barry and Howard providing its front of house hallmark of friendly but spotless service. The friendly and attentive staff will always greet you upon your arrival and a full waitress service is offered from start to finish.
Because of its popularity, reservations are always recommended in the evenings and for afternoon teas.
