Head
Chef David Roache has created a spring/summer menu with the very
best locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients including
the wonderful Jersey Royal, English asparagus, tender spring pink
Cheshire lamb and wonderfully fresh sea bass straight from the boats.
All of our 21 day dry aged steaks (apart from the Kobe) are from
a farm on the Cheshire/Wales border or if you prefer, enjoy Lobster
and chips whilst indulging in a glass of our exclusive Champagne
Olivier available nowhere else in Manchester. |
Obsidian
Bar and Restaurant, reached by a dramatic marble staircase, occupies
a stunning modern space situated below the Arora International Hotel
on Princess Street in the heart of the city.
Inspired by the upscale glamour of the Big Apple, the designers
have created a magnificent space, which blends Arabesque with Sex
and the City. |

Reviews |
"I
love Obsidian, it's very chic yet friendly and unpretentious.
The restaurant is opulent beyond belief - plush leather seats
and individual lighting. The chicken breast in blue butter with
pickled walnuts came with the most tasty vegetables I've had in
a long time. The rhubarb crumble was gorgeous and, like the restaurant
itself, is highly recommended!"
