The Whim Wham Cafe Manchester
The Whim Wham Cafe is Manchester’s first epicurean eatery and gin saloon.
Run by couple Alix Walker and Jessica Naven, the cafe is an independent business which strives to furnish its customers with a taste of local, regionally sourced and artisan produce, accompanied by an impressive selection of bottled ales and lagers, wines and unique gin saloon cocktails, alongside a classic cocktail menu.
Located in one of the railway arches (built 1849) along Whitworth Street West in Manchester city centre, The Whim Wham Cafe is close to both Oxford Road and Deansgate.
The atmosphere is relaxed with a jazz, swing and blues soundtrack alongside a vintage inspired décor, with a nod to the railway and industrial history of the cafe’s location in a railway arch.
The Whim Wham Café offers restaurant quality food in a relaxed cafe environment.

The menu focuses on regional cuisine, as the kitchen team continues to design new dishes based on classic regional cooking.
The British cheese and meat platters feature the cafe’s own chutneys and roast meats alongside great artisan produce from the North of England such as Cumbrian Parmer Venison, Wild Boar Ham and Venison Salami.
A range of salads and hot dishes have been designed to be suitable for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets and the kitchen will accommodate all dietary requirements.
Local artisan food offerings include award winning pies from Stockport’s Great North Pie Company, and ice cream and frozen dessert cakes from Gingers Comfort Emporium.
Sandwiches with the cafe's own roast meats and local cheeses are served daily.
On weekends, the cafe offers something a bit different alongside the weekly menu.

Weekend specials include British classics, roasts, seasonal game and tasty vegetarian options.
There is also regularly live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings including cabaret, vocalists and acoustic musicians.
