"We visited Thomas for a Sunday roast and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is deceptively large, considering its fairly small frontage, and it's very welcoming. One waitress was exceptionally friendly, although this was balanced with another who was quite cold. The staff are casually dressed and one was wearing scruffy jeans which, even if we were in the Northern Quarter, didn't feel right for the quality of food on offer. The good-sized portions were nicely cooked, the Roast Beef came complete with Yorkshire Pudding & creamed horseradish, and at £8.95 would be one of the best value quality Sunday Roasts in Manchester." - Ian, Stockton Heath ~ TRUSTED REVIEWER (15/7/10 ~ visited on a Sunday Lunch) |
