Lammar's
Restaurant and Bar Manchester - reader comments
"On
the whole Lammars is in a great place and it does
have potential but the staff need to be more attentive
to their customers. The food is not great by any means,
but going off the prices it should be. I would go
again but not to eat."

"I
visited Lammar's after hearing they served African tapas - Seeing
as the truely awful Jowata's is the only alternative in the city centre,
Manchester's been crying out for a good African restaurant. Unfortunately
I must have got there too early for the 'Bordello' restaurant and
could only order from the daytime British bar menu.
The menu stated the dishes were available anytime after midday however
the bar man informed me that only one or two choices were available.
By default, I opted for the beefburger. When it eventually came I
have to say I was rather disappointed; it was OK
but nothing more than over-priced pub grub. I guess
I'll have to make another trip later in the evening to this otherwise
superb hidden away gem of a bar to experience that African tapas restaurant
I expected to find here."
